Who attends

The first two annual conferences brought together over 1,000 planners, architects, landscape architects, developers, technology experts, elected officials, academics and many others who are curious and concerned about how technology is changing cities, as well how cities can harness technology to achieve desired outcomes.

This conference is designed to be a truly interdisciplinary event bringing together people from the private, public, and academic sectors who play a critical role in the future of our cities.

The Urbanism Next Conference will give you an opportunity to better understand the secondary impacts of emerging technologies and what strategies, policies, pilot projects, and programs different agencies, cities, and others are doing to ensure they promote livable and equitable communities. For those of you are who are less familiar with these topics, we will be organizing an introductory workshop on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 so that you can dive into the conference feeling knowledgeable and informed. In sum, this conference is for everyone interested in, thinking about, and working towards the future of cities.
